Microfiche minimizes need to store printed reports

Microfiche was introduced as a service, enabling Members to receive reports on 4×6 inch microfiche film sheets rather than as printed reports. A 4×6 inch microfiche film held about the same amount of information as a 200-page standard report that was 15×11 inches and weighed several pounds.
